SEDUCING SPIRITS

I TIMOTHY 4:1

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Understand this all seducing comes from your own inward lust! You cannot be seduced by something your not interested in. SO the enemy of our soul knows what you like and who you are. The trouble is you don’t know who you are. It’s easy to take advantage of a people who only believe everybody else is the problem. The amazing truth about is, the walls we have put up to protect ourselves from others, who is going to protect ourselves from ourselves?

Strongmen are very active in this hour as evil grows more and more in our wicked society! Remember Eve? She saw the tree was good for food, and pleasant to the eye.  Genesis 3:6.

Who and what seduce us? Unsaved relatives, spouses who tell us they are saved but are given over to the love of this world, people who have attractions to fascination by false prophets, signs, wonders.

JAMES 1:14

  But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

JAMES 1:15

 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

These spirits seduce you into thinking what belongs to another is really your right to have. The problem is the people have not discerned their own selves.

The most deceiving of all are those who are carnal minded Christians. The carnal Christian will usually get his feelings hurt by something or someone and quit the church in a flash. The spirit of a vagabond develops at every departure. Here is the case point, many “depart from the faith.” They are set up for the kill living carnally, angry at the pastor or a fellow church member, still having a desire to attend church. Unless the grace of God has not failed them they will humble themselves and repent. The seducing spirits comes into churches to change the old values of holiness. They want a more modern up beat attractive type of religion. When they cannot have what they want they swoop up the carnal minded and off they go! This is where a lot of church splits come from.

What is amazing they think they will be able to start there own church and before you know it, in a years time! They have all forsaken each other. Why? Mission complete satan has destroyed their faith.

JEREMIAH 3:14

 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

JEREMIAH 3:15

  And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

JOHN 14:6
