Vagabond
GENESIS 4:12
When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
GENESIS 4:14
Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, [that] every one that findeth me shall slay me.
ACTS 19:13
Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
Vagabond- Wander, Roam, Rove, Meander. These are people who jump around from Church to Church and Assembly to Assembly. They cannot find a resting place. Every place they have ever been has been the problem.
Let’s tell the truth folks. We are humans and we all have problems. This is why we strive against sin.
These people never get established or have any success in accomplishing anything. They are tormented by continual failures. They live in a constant state of discontent. Before they leave a place they must have justification for why they leave. They express discontentment, the truth is if they would take a look at their life, they are the ones who have the problems and not everybody else.
Some of the problems they are constantly battling are frustration, sickness, death, family problems, hopelessness, guilt, setbacks, distress, hard times, slumps, can’t ever seem to get ahead, suffering, accidents, depression, grief and etc..
They are in a constant state of flight. They always feel like they are being persecuted. A vagabond is an outcast. If they cannot see themselves in light of the Scriptures and hearing from a GOD called Pastor who understands Spiritual Warfare, they will not break free of this “Runaway” spirit.
If you know anyone who has this type of spirit, your Pastor must have and be a man of understanding.
May God grant you the ears to hear is my prayer.
