Holy Day Calender

Holy Days

Holy Days

YHWH has wonderful Feasts Days set aside for us (We Israel) in the year. These are commanded convocations which are blessings and prophetic. The Holy Days are types of Sabbaths where the body of Messiah (Jesus) meet before YHWH in their seasons. They are part of the covenant given to us in Exodus chapters twenty through twenty four (20-24) inclusive. These are real blessings only for the begotten of the Heavenly Father. These are only for those who are born again of the water and spirit. They are only for the Israel of God. We at Straitway do not celebrate pagan heathen holidays such as Chrsitmas, Easter, Sunday, Valentines Day, Halloween. These are days were there is no biblical proof of God's people celebrating. After much intense study we have come to the conclusion we ought to obey YAH (GOD) rather than man.

Here is the calendar for the year.

* Observed on the previous evening.
* All of these days will be observed here at Straitway.
* We do not celebrate pagan holidays such as Christmas, Easter, Sunday, Halloween, Valentines Day etc.. These are days that are set aside for pagans. We do nto have any problem with the pagans who celebrate these days.
* We choose to obey the Word of GOD (King James Version 1611) of the Bible.

Some people who have not studied the Scriptures have expressed great concerned over the word observe. A student of the Scriptures should have no problem with this world. It is in fact mentioned over 80 times in the WORD.

The problem with most people, is they have tried to make religion fit into God’s Holy Word. Religion will always fall short when it comes to God’s Holy Word. The Bible teaches us a disciples to never judge a man before it hears him. I would like to suggest to all. Instead of being offended by things you may not understand. Study first the Bible, get informed, let the Holy Spirit lead you rather than feelings and emotions.

  Passover 2007

Passover 2007

April 1st 2007

EXODUS 23:14

Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.

EXODUS 23:17

Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.

YHWH Feast Days

YHWH God the Eternal Heavenly Father commanded and gave His people the Hebrews (Children of Israel) commands that they are required to appear before Him three times in a year.

DEUTERONOMY 16:16

Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

Passover is the first in the set of the three major feast days as set forth by YAH (GOD). There are three major feast manifested in seven.

It is very important that we as the people of God understand His times and seasons. He has given to our fathers appointed days in which we are to honor and reverence His Holy Name. He has sanctified us and has clearly set us apart for His use in this earth. We are the light of the world, and it is for us to understand and set ourselves and our lives back in order to follow and serve our KING!

I PETER 2:9-10

But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past [were] not a people, but [are] now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

God sent His Son Jesus Yahshua the Holy Lamb of God to redeem us back to Himself. YHWH created man in his own image, however man chose by free will to serve and submit himself unto Satan in the garden.

LEVITICUS 17:11

For the life of the flesh [is] in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it [is] the blood [that] maketh an atonement for the soul.

Every since the beginning of time some 6,000 years ago, God has made atonement and He has reconciled us back to Himself by our Passover Holy Lamb of God, Jesus the Christ! It was His shed blood that paid for the plenty of our sins. Not because we where good, or where worthy. It was all because of His grace. We all deserve a living burning Hell because of our transgression.

The deliverance of the Hebrew people (The Children of Israel) for the life of bondage and hardship estranged from their GOD. YHWH had a plan to reconcile us back to Himself by the Blood of His Son Yahshua the Lamb, Jesus the Christ.

ROMANS 5:8

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

ROMANS 5:9

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

ROMANS 5:10

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Jesus was and is our Passover Lamb. He died for our sins that we might have life. It is for this reason we celebrate this first feast day in the first month of the year.

I CORINTHIANS 5:7

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us:

At this appointed time of the year, we are to remember how our YHWH (GOD) brought our people out of the house of bondage. We are to remember and tell our Children the story of the Bitter slavery our family was in, in Egypt!

We are to tell how Moses gave to us the Feast of the Passover as instructed by YHWH. How the death angel was to Passover all the land of Egypt and smite every First Born. We are to remember the Words of our God when He said:

EXODUS 12:13

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye [are]: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy [you], when I smite the land of Egypt.

EXODUS 12:14

And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

Jesus is our Passover Lamb. He has delivered us from the bondage of sin. Many people do not understand this in our time. We are to keep YHWH feast and Holyday’s as a memorial. Each and every one of them is important to the people of GOD.

Jesus kept the Passover and taught us, His people who we are to observe it. We are to eat a meal, Break bread, Drink the wine, wash each others feet as Jesus has commanded us to do:

JOHN 13:3

      Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

JOHN 13:4

He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.

JOHN 13:5

After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe [them] with the towel wherewith he was girded.

JOHN 13:6

Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

JOHN 13:7

Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.

JOHN 13:8

Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

JOHN 13:9

Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also [my] hands and [my] head.

JOHN 13:10

Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash [his] feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.

JOHN 13:11

For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.

JOHN 13:12

So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?

JOHN 13:13

Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for [so] I am.

JOHN 13:14

If I then, [your] Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.

JOHN 13:15

For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

JOHN 13:16

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

JOHN 13:17

If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

This time of the year the beginning of months is a very happy time for us here at Straitway. It is a time of gathering and reflection to our GOD YHWH our Heavenly Father and His SON YAHSHUA the Lamb of GOD Jesus the Christ!

For He has washed away our sins By His precious Blood and has redeemed us by the shedding of His Blood! This is why we obey the scriptures and the laws of our God. We are a happy people because we do them and understand them. We are a chosen generation and a royal priesthood. GLORY!

JOHN 1:10

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

JOHN 1:11

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

JOHN 1:12

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

JOHN 1:13

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

JOHN 1:14

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

This first month of the New Year, we begin it by preparing ourselves and sanctifying ourselves unto our God as we do every single day. We do what Jesus did for He is our example.

LUKE 22:1

Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

LUKE 22:2

And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.

The New Covenant is filled with the examples of how Jesus kept the Passover. It is our hope that if God has chosen you to be His people, that you would honor Him and keep His feast as He has commanded us to do throughout our generations forever.

We thank you Father for the precious Blood of Jesus that was shed for our sins. We thank you for reconciling us back to You. We thank you for the pure atonement you have given us. All Glory! All Honor is to You and we will remember you once again in your appointed seasons and times as set forth by You given to MOSES and JESUS the Christ!

I PETER 1:18

     Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers;

I PETER 1:19

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

I PETER 1:20

Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

I PETER 1:21

Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

I PETER 1:22

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, [see that ye] love one another with a pure heart fervently:

I PETER 1:23

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

COLOSSIANS 2:15

[And] having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

COLOSSIANS 2:16

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]:

COLOSSIANS 2:17

Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body [is] of Christ.

We worship you! And Obey you our King!

Come Eternal JESUS! COME quickly!
