The Cross

I JOHN 3:8

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

THE CROSS

How do you approach a subject like this, when it is considered so sensitive to masses of people who consider themselves Christian believers? It seems that the people who say they believe the Bible (King James Version) do everything they can through ignorance to follow traditions rather than TRUTH.  This topic would not be so sensitive if the recipient was a true Bible Believer.

Before I get started, have you ever once questioned anything that you do in your belief system? The Bible tells us to prove all things and hold fast to that which is good. Today we do not prove anything but fall for everything. Just because you do something or have done something does not mean it is right. I know right off hand that many of you will be mad and upset because you are now discovering you have been deceived. Many of the things you call Christian have nothing to do with the Bible (King James Version) scriptures at all.

Whether hanging on your necks, cars, churches, walls or many other places, the cross that many people wear today, has nothing at all to do with Christianity! These crosses are graven images that The Almighty tells us to avoid the worship of.

It is my prayer that you stop doing and loving everything the world does and celebrates just because someone has called it Christian. My word to you all is to study the bible and see if there is any basis to what you believe. Line your beliefs up with the Scriptures. Whether your belief may be:

Ø      Christmas

Ø      Easter

Ø      Halloween

Ø      Valentine’s day

Ø      The Cross

Ø      Sunday rest day.

I promise it will not hurt you to study the Word of God. However, you will find that many things you have come to believe as gospel truth have nothing to do with God’s word at all. It’s nothing more than a disguise; satanic pagan, heathen worship!

Folks, I tell the truth whether people like it or not! It doesn’t make any difference to me at all. Study and stop all of this idol worship!

Let me ask you a question; did Jesus or the disciples wear crosses? Did the disciples celebrate Christmas, Easter and etc…? If not where did it come from and how and why do we do it? Did God the Father, Jesus, the apostles, or Holy Spirit change the Sabbath from the 7th day to the 1st day of the week? I think it is time for you to find out all of this and more.

The cross was a pagan symbol long before Jesus was crucified on it. Jesus said Himself…

MARK 8:34

And when he had called the people [unto him] with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

MATTHEW 10:38

And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

The defined word “cross”

GREEK LEXICON -- STRONG'S NUMBER 4716

  4716     stauros    {stow-ros'}    staurovß    from the base of 2476; TDNT -- 7:572,1071; n m

 AV  -- cross (28)

 1) an upright stake, esp. a pointed one

 2) a cross

2a) a well known instrument of most cruel and ignominious punishment, borrowed by the Greeks and Romans from the Phoenicians; to it were affixed among the Romans, down to the time of Constantine the Great, the guiltiest criminals, particularly the basest slaves, robbers, the authors and abettors of insurrections, and occasionally in the provinces, at the arbitrary pleasure of the governors, upright and peaceable men also, and even Roman citizens themselves; This horrible punishment the innocent Jesus also suffered.

2b) the crucifixion which Christ underwent.

The cross Jesus is referring to is self-denial. Did you know that the cross is a symbol of death and has nothing to do with Christianity at all? It was originally created and designed in Babylon and Egypt.

All most every single religion uses a symbol of the cross: including witchcraft and voodoo. Satanic worshippers, rock, rap and country celebrities wear the same symbol as many deceived Christians. The Cross has been made an idol. Jesus only talked of the cross of denying oneself and told you to take it up and follow Him. Following Jesus is the real cross. Stop all of this so-called paganism, masked in the name of Christianity. Because someone has told you that it’s a Christian symbol doesn’t mean that it is. It is not a Christian symbol. It never has been and never will be!

A quote from Alexander Hyssops book:

"That which is now called the Christian cross was originally no Christian emblem at all, but was the mystic Tau of the Chaldeans and Egyptians -- the true original form of the letter T -- the initial of the name of Tammuz [...] That mystic Tau was marked in baptism on the foreheads of those initiated in the Mysteries, and was used in every variety of way as a most sacred symbol. [...] The Vestal virgins of Pagan Rome wore it suspended from their necklaces, as the nuns do now. The Egyptians did the same [...] There is hardly a Pagan tribe where the cross has not been found. The cross was worshipped by the Pagan Celts long before the incarnation and death of Christ."

("The Two Babylons", by Alexander Hyssop, pages 197-199)

A quote from Vine's Dictionary:

Cross, Crucify

A-1,Noun,4716,stauros

denotes, primarily, "an upright pale or stake." On such malefactors were nailed for execution. Both the noun and the verb stauroo, "to fasten to a stake or pale," are originally to be distinguished from the ecclesiastical form of a two beamed "cross." The shape of the latter had its origin in ancient Chaldea, and was used as the symbol of the god Tammuz (being in the shape of the mystic Tau, the initial of his name) in that country and in adjacent lands, including Egypt. By the middle of the 3rd cent. A.D. the churches had either departed from, or had travestied, certain doctrines of the Christian faith. In order to increase the prestige of the apostate ecclesiastical system pagans were received into the churches apart from regeneration by faith, and were permitted largely to retain their pagan signs and symbols. Hence the Tau or T, in its most frequent form, with the cross-piece lowered, was adopted to stand for the "cross" of Christ.

(Vine's Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, 1940, by W.E. Vine)

So the cross is a symbol for Tammuz. Who is Tammuz, you might ask?

"Tammuz ... in Mesopotamian religion, god of fertility embodying the powers for new life in nature in the spring"
(The New Encyclopedia Britannica, volume 11, page 532)

Aha, it is proven the cross is definitely pagan.

So before you get mad at me, prove me wrong and show me what you have come up with. The most sacred and revered symbol of Christianity today is in fact... pagan. However, the vast majority of Christians do not realize its pagan nature because they are blind, gullible, sheep, who are content with unquestioningly following the blind herd. At the very least, you should research the issue and THEN decide whether you should believe in it, instead of automatically believing the propaganda that is fed to you. I encourage people to be free and independent thinkers. This mentality will search and find the truth, and will be set free.

I would suggest that you take that PAGAN SYMBOL off of your neck and put the real cross of Jesus on your back!

MATTHEW 16:24

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

MATTHEW 16:25

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

MATTHEW 16:26

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

MARK 8:34

And when he had called the people [unto him] with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

MARK 8:35

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

MARK 10:21

Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

MARK 10:22

And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

LUKE 9:23

And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

LUKE 9:24

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

LUKE 9:25

For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

LUKE 9:26

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and [in his] Father's, and of the holy angels.

As you can see, bearing the real cross of Jesus is “NOT” some pagan symbol wore around your neck, neither is it something you look to with your natural eyes!

It’s deny yourself, and walking as HE walked daily! This is the real cross of Jesus the Christ! Stop with the idolatry, and worship HIM.

JOHN 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
