I JOHN 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Shame
What spirit is more crippling to a man? Being dishonored, disgraced, injured, hurt, guilt and etc... Let’s just get to the real facts! GOD by the power of the Holy Spirit is the only one designed to reprove of sin. Now many men may think and believe that it’s their job to take the place of the Holy Spirit and start judging. One thing about judging it is a spiritual principle, if you judge, you WILL BE JUDGED after the same manner you have judged. So get ready!
Did you know that many people in the church try to use the weapon of shame against the very people of GOD who GOD has saved? Shame eats away at the conscience of a mans mind. If a man where to get help to be freed from this spirit, who could he turn to?
Anytime you confide in someone you are putting yourself at risk. But unless you trust in someone how else would you get delivered. Oh I know many will say “Trust not in man!” Thinking they are saying something spiritual. They the very people who say these things will go to the drug store and find a drug to help them cope with their shame. Or they will drink themselves drunk trying to hide the pain. Or they will go to some college educated counselor of this world and look at trying to handle their problems.
So who do you turn to? I would say pray and the Heavenly Father will lead you to someone who is honest pure and truthful. A man will lead you the delivering power of JESUS.
PROVERBS 13:5
A righteous [man] hateth lying: but a wicked [man] is loathsome, and cometh to shame.
A lying man will come to shame, that means a woman too! A man that refuses instruction will be brought to proverty and shame.
PROVERBS 13:18
Poverty and shame [shall be to] him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
A woman who cares more for her selfish self will bring her husband to shame. This type of shame is always rooted in rebellion. It usually shows up in adultery. Adultery brings abrasive shame upon the victims. Even though these terrible acts are forgiven, forgotten, and blotted out. This spirit if it is not dealt with will try and work to still destroy others all because it has been shamed.
A wife in rebellion against her husband will always end up being rottenness in his bones. It’s sad. I know we do not some of the judgments that are written in the scriptures. But the judgment was different on a wife when she commits adultery as to the husband doing the same thing. The commandment is not to commit adultery. There use to be a time when a man could have 10 wives and 50 concubines. But a wife could not have 2 husbands and 10 men to lie with.
Now I know we do not like this but it is the truth. Man if you have a wife today be content with her and wife you are content with your wife.
PROVERBS 12:4
A virtuous woman [is] a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed [is] as rottenness in his bones.
Now look at the shame a man brings upon himself when he commits the act of adultery.
PROVERBS 6:29
So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.
PROVERBS 6:30
[Men] do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;
PROVERBS 6:31
But [if] he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
PROVERBS 6:32
[But] whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he [that] doeth it destroyeth his own soul.
PROVERBS 6:33
A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.
PROVERBS 6:34
For jealousy [is] the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.
WOW amazing huh? A man who goes into his neighbor’s wife is a jealous man, he also lacks understanding, and he also destroys his own soul. And He should give all that he has to the man he has trust pass against.
Last but not lest he gets a wound of dishonor to himself that will stay with him for the rest of his life!
Another type of shame is that of a child brings upon his parents. Children always need to have a stick on their back sides for disobedience.
PROVERBS 29:15
The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left [to himself] bringeth his mother to shame.
PROVERBS 19:26
He that wasteth [his] father, [and] chaseth away [his] mother, [is] a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach.
Naked and nudity is a practice associated with idolatry and witchcraft. Provocative nakedness brings shame. For instance women who wear pants, anyone who shows their navel, pants that show the crack of your back side, legs that are exposed, tight fitting clothing showing highlighting the breast and sexual parts.
EXODUS 32:25
And when Moses saw that the people [were] naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto [their] shame among their enemies:)
A man that has long hair, it is a shame to him!
I CORINTHIANS 11:14
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
Shame always cripples ad hinders, so it must be ferreted out no matter where it is rooted. Cast it out! If ignored it will destroy you!
Win Worley has a wonderful book on this subject. He states: “There are even some things with which a husband must not burden his wife. A graphic account of his misdeeds will deeply wound her and cause festering, tormenting pain for years to come. He may feel better for getting it off his mind but this sacrifices his spouse and her peace of mind to do it. This is the worst sort of selfishness and must not be indulged. He made the mess and must not jettison it on his wife just to assuage his own guilty conscience. Bearing the brunt of the misery of knowing and keeping it between himself and the Lord is part of the wages of misdeeds. This shows proper love and respect for the wife as her protector.”
Remember these Private sins should be dealt with privately with the individuals involved, but public sin must be dealt with publicly. Do not let any sins stop you from getting deliverance.
Forgiveness and deliverance from spirits of shame will pave the way for you to become stronger in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I as a pastor am always being attacked by those who say they are of God. As a matter of fact the world does not ever give me any trouble at all. So, my prayer goes like this for those who attack me as a servant of the Most High God.
PSALMS 109:29
Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
PSALMS 119:78
Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: [but] I will meditate in thy precepts.
PSALMS 35:4
Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
PSALMS 31:17
Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, [and] let them be silent in the grave.
PSALMS 35:26
Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify [themselves] against me.
PSALMS 40:14
Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
PSALMS 83:17
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
JOHN 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
