The Heresy which calls herself
CHRISTIANITY
Richard A. Fliearman Jr.
In the twenty-fourth chapter of the book of Job, we are told that with the light Yah brings to man, there also arises a murderer who brings forth false light in order to deceive the simple. Nowhere was this more prevalent than when the church was yet in its infancy--nowhere is this more obvious to the objective bible reader than the warnings given by Christ and the Apostles that false teachers would arise and not at some distant future date but in the day in which they spoke. “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.” (II Peter 2:1)
Throughout the Book of Acts, the Epistles, and Revelation there is a reoccurring confrontation of these representatives of the murder and his false light against the Apostles. These were the “False Jews”, “false apostles, “deceitful workers”, “grievous wolves” and “false-brethren” within the ranks of the believers. These men were promoting a parallel gospel and salvation which would deny the very foundation of the Apostles and Prophets and replace the “Chief Cornerstone” and his doctrine with the form of “another Jesus” and a false light (replacement doctrine).
The warning in Jude 1:3-4, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.” shows the Apostles concern. Also, in Acts 20:29-31 we see reason for the alarm “For I know this, that after my departure, shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. So rank and prevalent was this heresy that it ultimately won out with the majority and the “little flock” known as Nazarene Jews became the victims of replacement theology.
The heresy to which I am referring is called antinomianism and the progenitors of that heresy were known as Nicolaitans or Simonians. Now antinomianism basically means that under the dispensation of the gospel one is not obligated to observe the moral law (Ten Commandments) or that the moral law is of no use since faith alone is necessary for salvation. Doesn’t this sound much like the articles of faith and the Apostles Creed falsely so called? The clichés today go something like this: “Were not under that law” “were New Testament Christians” and “Grace plus nothing”. Of course, if someone violates one of those laws (that they say they are no longer under), they will immediately call the police to arrest the “lawbreaker” for killing, theft, etc. while they advocate that the biblical laws no longer applies. This is exactly where the so called Church finds itself today. It is rampant with homosexuals, fornication, and adultery. Pagan rituals, idolatrous images, and heathen symbolism are now part and parcel to the Christian religion and they make no apologies for it. Pleasure is the barometer of godliness today. This is exactly what the Simonians and Nicolaitans introduced into the fledgling body of the Lord Jesus Christ in the early days of the church.
The Simonians, later called Gnostics, were those who followed after Simon Magus, the one who offered money to Peter for the power (authority) to impart the Holy Spirit to whomsoever he would lay his hands upon. This Simon was a sorcerer. He was not being merely over zealous but thought he could receive the power of the presbytery in exchange for money. His motive was to incorporate the power of Christ into his sorcerer’s repertoire while adding the title of Apostleship to his credit. Simon Bar Jonah was obviously not convinced of his sincerity and hence uttered this scathing rebuke in Act 8:20-23 “But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and [in] the bond of iniquity.” Now in the original verse 23 reads even more in the form of a prophecy: “Act 8:23 εις 1519[IN] γαρ 1063[FOR] χολην 5521[A GALL] πικριας 4088[OF BITTERNESS] και 2532[AND] συνδεσμον 4886[A BOND] αδικιας 93[OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS] ορω 3708(5719)[I SEE] σε 4571[THEE] οντα 5607(5752)[TO BE.]
“ I see thee to be for a gall of bitterness and a bond of unrighteousness.”
This obviously was not only the end of hope for Simon Magus, but also seems to be alluding to his future conduct as a Pseudo-believer and the licentious and heretical doctrines that he, along with others labeled as Nicolaitans would promote in parallel with the true Hebrew Apostle based doctrines. As such, they would then fit the following charge made by Paul: “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)
Now the Nicolaitans were in affinity with the Simonians who were either polluting the teachings of Nicolas of Antioch who was one of the Deacons in Acts 7 by using his name as a form of authority or they were followers of another Nicolas. It could also be that this schism was no other than Simon himself, since the name Nicolas means “ruler of the people” and the doctrines they taught were in harmony with the Simonians or Gnostics. Those doctrines again were first and foremost:
1. The rejection of the Decalogue and the dietary laws.
2. Food sacrificed to idols was tolerated and deemed of no real consequence.
Then there were the two extremes of moral conduct in regards to sexual purity. The first being fornication as an acceptable form of practice in both private life and ritualistic conduct within the church. This part pertained to the “laity”. The second doctrine was celibacy on the part of the priests or leaders. The term “Celibacy” only pertained to the order of marriage. So it followed that any other perversion, as was also in the case of the laity deemed of no real consequence. They even changed the nature of the Godhead, separating the divinity and humanity of Jesus, which formed the basis of the doctrine of the trinity and gave in their own minds justification for the aforementioned lewd doctrines.
This separation of the humanity and divinity of Jesus is also in syncretism to teachings of the Gnostic Pythagoras whose mystical concepts are akin to alchemy and Kabalistic practices. Trade guilds also played a major role in this heresy in so much that belonging to a guild would also make one a member of the local “church” and that if some were contrary to the Gnostic teachings they would be ostracized by both the church and the guild bringing pressure to bear upon men to “tow the line”. Perhaps this is why one today can be a Mason and a “Christian” at the same time. Since Gnosticism and the re-manufactured teachings of the Apostles are now united into one system of belief and practice, one is no longer required to observe the outmoded teachings of the Apostles, Moses, or even Jesus himself since they believe that the very law the Lord fulfilled does not apply to those who would follow after him. This is insanity and blasphemy of the highest magnitude! Yet strangely enough, this is what is considered normal faith in today’s “Christianity”. As our beloved Pastor Dowell has so often chimed, “Somebody has got to go to hell!”
Let’s look at some of the letters of the Apostles and see this struggle going on for the souls of the people. “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.” (I Timothy 1:18-20) “Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works” (II Timothy 4:14) Notice how the Apostles were dealing with subversive writings bearing their own identity which was causing trouble and schisms to form in the Church of Thessalonica. “That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.” (II Thessalonians 2:2)
In the next text we see the spirit of Lordship operating in the form of a church split and excommunication of the genuine leaders and supporters. “I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not. Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.” (3 John 1:9-10)
So here are two characteristics of the Gnostics or Nicolaitans, who would not only propagate false teachings passing them off as originating from the Apostles, but practiced calumny which means to utilize accusatory speech and writings in order to damage the reputation of another. Does this not sound all too familiar? This is the very name written on the whore’s forehead and she is indeed drunk and pours out of her filthy cup of madness into the waters of nations, tongues, and peoples. She will not repent because she loves who she is and so does her bed partners!
Look at Revelations 2:6, “But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.” The Ephesians had this to their credit that they would not tolerate this heresy. Though they were reproved for leaving their first love, they did have hatred for the deeds and doctrines of the Nicolaitans. “But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.” (Revelations 2:14-15)
Pergamos had a stronghold of this perversion going on. They had both the doctrines of the Nicolaitans and the doctrine of Baalam which are very similar in practice. What we can see today is that these doctrines and deeds of the Nicolaitans which began as some localized heresy which grew into a serious apostasy in the very face of the Apostles themselves. It gradually replaced the gospel of Jesus Christ with its own perversions of the gospel and its own perversion of Jesus. In fact, this “another Jesus” is identified with Zeus as I will show in a figure below. This is Christianity in a nutshell.
It is also worthy to note that Simon Magus, who I believe to be the originator of this apostasy, went to Rome where Claudius Caesar declared him to be a god and a statue was erected in his honor. Nero made him a part of his court. This move places him in Rome at about the time the Apostle Peter was yet alive in Jerusalem giving him the perfect opportunity to dominate the empire with his mixture of pagan mysteries, magic, and perversions of the faith of Jesus Christ. It is acknowledged that the Vatican is built upon the top of a Pagan Cemetery which leaves little doubt as to whom is actually buried under the Sistine Chapel. It was not the Hebrew Apostle Simon also called Petros or “little stone” but Simon Magus Pater the Heretic.
In 135 CE Hadrian conquered Jerusalem and forbid Jews and hence, Nazarene Jews, as well to enter. This effectively cut off both the influence of the descendants of the Apostles or desposyni as well as the direction in which the tithes and offerings would flow. In the year 318, the Hebrews appealed to Sylvester to revoke his confirming the authority of the Greek Christian Bishops at Jerusalem, Antioch, Ephesus, and Alexandria and to restore the authority of desposyni instead. The request was denied and the Hebrew’s were told to subjugate themselves to the Greek Bishops. Rome was made the Mother Church in Jerusalem’s stead and this was the end of the influence that the covenant people had with the Church at Rome and the world.
In 321, CE Constantine made radical changes concerning the Sabbath at the council of Nicaea and thereafter emerged another gospel and a Jesus which was completely foreign to the true gospel of Jesus Christ, and faith of the Apostles. Later on Pagan Sun worshipers such as Origen, and Quasi-Gnostics such as Clement, Eseubius, and Tertullian would be deemed “the fathers” of the church replacing themselves as the church authorities over the authority of the Apostles. Hence, the pagan sun-god Helios is now prominently displayed in the forms of the Holy Host and the cross. The worship of the groves is incorporated into the architecture of nearly all ancient and modern Christian churches displaying the Phallus of the Egyptian sun god Ra at the Vatican and atop the synagogues of the Christians.
The architecture of the Christian synagogues symbolizes the female reproductive opening just like the Pagan temples the world over. Is it any wonder that the spirits of fornication, adultery, sodomy, and idolatry are so commonplace in the Christian church? The genesis of this sick perversion called Christianity began with the rejection of the law, the metamorphosis of the Godhead, and the replacement of a people by a people who had no right to name the name of Christ. No, Christianity is not the people for whom Christ died. It is an insult and blasphemy to the Spirit of his grace and divinity. The people who love him have always come out from among this perversion and have separated themselves to keep his commandments.
Below is the “another Jesus” in the form of Zeus. This is the Christ of the Samaritan Nicolaitans, Simonians, and Modern Christianity both Catholic and Protestant.
This figure is taken from the front and back covers of the book by Ernest L. Martin “The people that history forgot”. Here is the excerpt explanation given.
“The front cover illustration depicts the mysterious people who introduced the worship of the pagan gods into Christianity by the use of sidereal knowledge. The right hand of the leader gives the Sarapis (Zeus) blessing and in the left hand is their introduction of Sarapis to Christianity, which became the long-haired "Jesus." So, paganism supplanted Christianity.
The back cover shows the Sarapis blessing with the image of Sarapis displayed in the palm of the right hand. The artifacts are building tools showing the desire to create a new society. Some animals are "changeable" ones depicting the change to the new society: the snake changes his skin, the chameleon changes its color, and the tadpole changes into the frog. The tortoise was an emblem of Mercury and Venus, and the Ibis (stork) was universally sacred to Isis and indicates birth — the "new birth" of being like Sarapis. The scales show that all judgment belongs to Sarapis the Judge of the dead.” Sculpture shown in G.J.F. Kater-Sibbes, Preliminary Catalogue of Sarapis Monuments (Leiden: Brill, 1973), #1018, plate 32.
So, you can see that the murderer is very much with us today and millions are being slaughtered by his false light of “Christianity”. If you value your soul, you will do as the warning commands “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (Revelations 18:4)
