The Resurrection was not on Sunday?
As a matter of fact, Jesus Resurrected on the Sabbath Day!

Most men will not believe God, but they will believe other people. After all Adam and Even didn’t believe Him! Only one hundred and twenty believed Him even though ten’s of thousands heard Him personally.  But I personally chose to believe Him.

COLOSSIANS 2:8

   Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

JOHN 19:30

      When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

JOHN 19:31

    The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and [that] they might be taken away.

JOHN 19:32

     Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.

JOHN 19:33

     But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:

Wednesday is the day in the midst of the week. Friday is not! How in the world can Jesus die on Friday and so-called be raised up on Sunday? How? There is no way that a person with any kind of intelligence, and can count, can come up with this type of ignorance. Ignorance is taught by religion. Jesus died in the midst of the week meaning Wednesday night and arose:

DANIEL 9:27

   And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Allow me to try and give you understanding, however you must have your bible with you and follow along and try and see if I am telling you the truth, which I am.

A day consist of a 24 hour period. According to Scriptures the day begins in the evening, and it takes the evening and the morning to make up one complete day. I know there are certain schools of thought who try and make this sound good. Yet if its not the truth, then it is a lie and the person who is teaching the lie is anti-christ!

Christianity tries to tell us that the Jews believe that any part of a day is considered a day. While this may sound good, yet it’s just words without any foundation. Listen, you can choose to believe what someone says all you want, yet it does not make it the truth. What does the Bible say? In Genesis the first chapter it clearly tells us what consist in a day. Do you believe your Bible? Is the Bible the truth?

The Jews do not believe that any part of a day is considered a day. It’s just another religious lie trying to justify pagan Christianity! The evening and morning makes up one complete day. Roman Christianity teaches all of these lies in the name of Christ to force Sunday upon a people who do not hold the Bible in high regard.

DEUTERONOMY 21:22

     And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:

DEUTERONOMY 21:23

      His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged [is] accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance.

Also allow me to add another truth to this short teaching. Christianity has replaced the Tree with a cross. The Bible says cursed is everyone that hangeth on a Tree, not a cross, or an old rugged cross. Why did the Roman Catholic Church and American Christianity change the tree for the cross? It’s simple history.

The Roman’s crucified a lot of Hebrew Israelites and even used them for torches to light the path going into Jerusalem. Here in America the White Americans killed, and hanged thousands of Black people, men, women and children including American Indians on trees. So for them to cover up the atrocities, and injustices done by white Americans!

Since the Scriptures say cursed is everyone who hangeth on a tree, they had to remove the tree from your minds and they replaced it with the cross, so that you would not know what or who was accursed of God. Amazing huh? I bet your Bible colleges and churches did not teach you that. Allow me to provide a few Scriptures:

GALATIANS 3:13

  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:

ACTS 5:30

    The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

ACTS 10:38

    How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

ACTS 10:39

    And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

ACTS 10:40

  Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

ACTS 13:29

And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took [him] down from the tree, and laid [him] in a sepulchre.

ACTS 13:30

But God raised him from the dead:

 They got Jesus down that day so that His body could be buried that evening so that it would not remain that day. According to Scriptures.

DEUTERONOMY 21:23

      His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged [is] accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance.

This is not hard to understand for those who have the Holy Spirit and the power of God operating in their lives. Did not Jesus declare that there are twelve hours in a day? So if there are twelve hours in a day then there are twelve hours in a night. Meaning, the day time period! We all know that that there are 24 hours in a complete day.

JOHN 11:9

  Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

So in order for Jesus to fulfill prophecy, the Scriptures said:

MATTHEW 12:39

  But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

MATTHEW 12:40

   For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Jesus was in the grave three days and three nights:

Wednesday Night (1)

Thursday Morning (1)

Thursday Night (2)

Friday Morning (2)

Friday Night (3)

Saturday Morning (3)

Saturday Night. This is the time period Jesus rose from the Grave. Early in the morning being the first day of the week by the time Mary got to the grave Jesus had already risen.

Now you have your three days and three nights according to the prophecy of the Scriptures.

Now answer me this question. Your preachers tell you Jesus died Friday (Good Friday) and rose Sunday (Easter Sunday which is another lie of so-called Christianity).  Let’s see if we can get three days and three nights out of this:

Sunday Morning (2)

Sunday Night (3)

Monday Morning (3)

So according to Christianity Jesus really rose from the dead on Monday Morning. Somebody has been lying to you the people or the flock of God. And it’s not me!

Let’s take another look at a passage of Scripture in the Gospel. Jesus told them all they have are their traditions, and it’s vain. You see this is what Christianity teaches today; traditions and doctrines of men. It is all in vain.

MARK 7:7

     Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.

MARK 7:8

     For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, [as] the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

MARK 7:9

   And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

It is a vain tradition and the doctrines of men that teach a resurrection of Christ on a Sunday morning. Sorry folks but the Bible does not teach that. Think! You can worship Christ in vain, just by teaching traditions of men. Where in the Bible did the prophets, the apostles or Jesus teach us to observe Easter, or to celebrate Christ resurrection on Sunday morning? Where?

One more: After three days

MARK 8:31

   And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and [of] the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Did you notice what the Bible said? After three days, not a minute before but after three days. Now ask yourself what does tradition say? Now what does the Bible say? Stick with the Book!

Ok I hear it now. “Pastor Dowell the Bible says Jesus rose on the 1^st day of the week”! Does it really? I read the same Bible you do, at least I think I do. I personally use the King James Version of the Bible, Not the new but the old.

I am amazed at the lack of understanding people have today.

LUKE 24:1

  Now upon the first [day] of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain [others] with them.

Now the question is when did they get to the sepulcher? Do you believe the Bible? Or do you believe what you have been told? Listen folks, many of you have made the mistake like a lot of people have done, by automatically assuming Jesus died on Friday. Aren’t you tired of being lied to?

Just because they got there on the first day of the week does not mean that he rose on the first day. When they got there the Bible is crystal clear in saying and I quote  “Now upon the first [day] of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulcher”. Do you know what it means now upon the first day of the week?

The angel even said:

LUKE 24:2

     And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

LUKE 24:3

     And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

LUKE 24:4

    And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

LUKE 24:5

   And as they were afraid, and bowed down [their] faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

LUKE 24:6

   He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

LUKE 24:7

   Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

LUKE 24:8

     And they remembered his words,

So by the time they got there, the stone was already rolled away. Jesus was not there He had already risen that Sabbath. Listen I know it is a shocking thing when truth comes to you. Yet Jesus said the very reason for truth was to set you free. God is trying to bring a people who will worship Him in Spirit and in TRUTH. Will you be an Israelite, a disciple of Christ?

The Bible is the truth and not religion or whatever church you go to. Jesus had already risen! It is for this reason why you need Pastors:

JEREMIAH 3:15

   And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

A Pastor will be after God’s own heart. Who told you the church you were raised in was the truth? Who told you your church is right? Have you checked out all of these things for yourselves or do you like many just assume what you’re in is right?

Your Churches never expect you to go outside of your trained religion to search out a matter for yourself. Why are you a Baptist? Does the Bible tell you to be one? As a matter of fact where in the Bible does it tell you to be any of these 3,000 plus religions created upon this earth?

It was not my intent to offend you. I am very passionate about the truth. I hope you are.

Allow me to view one more passage from the Gospel.

JOHN 20:1

  The first [day] of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

Think for a moment. Knowing the time of God according to the Scriptures, what day was it that Mary Magdalene came to the sepulcher? The above verse said when it was yet dark. The first part of the verse says “The first day of the week cometh”. What is this saying? Allow me to explain in, the terms we use today.

Saturday night Mary was coming to the sepulcher while it was dark. The first day of the week was coming in. Think. If Mary was coming to the sepulcher if we use todays understanding then she would have had to be coming to the grave Sunday night. We know this is not true so throw that out. Now we here at Straitway do not follow the customs of our land. We chose to obey The Most High and put Him first in everything we do. So our Laws and Commandments are different from the people who live around us. The Genesis account clearly says the evening and morning make up one complete day. So following the Bible, the day begins at night and then you have the day period which would make up one complete day.

Wednesday night / Wednesday Day which is the 4th day of the week which is Day 1.

Thrusday night / Thursday Day which is the 5th day of the week which is Day 2.

Friday morning / Friday Day which is the 6th day of the week which is Day 3.

Now we have the truth. Jesus resurrected the Sabbath Day durning the night period and Mary knew to rest according to the Commandment on the 7th day Sabbath. Then she went out very early in the morning being the first day of the week to the sepulchre (grave), and found that Jesus the Christ was not there, He had already risen.

This is a very painful truth. Why? Becasue it shows clearly the falsehoods of Christianity. We the Israelites of the Most High here at Straitway thank Him for continue understanding as we hunger and thirst after righteousness to be filled. So it make take you to understand the steps I have written in order for you to understand. Yet it will be hard if you are determined to try and fit American, Roman, Greek, European days and calander days into God's Holy time schedule. May the King grant you understanding. The fact remains Jesus did not die on NO Friday and resurrected on so-called Sunday.

JOHN 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
